The successful candidate will coordinate with interdisciplinary staff, ensure timely documentation, and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations relevant to long-term care reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Experience with the MDS assessment cycle and billing implications.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration for care planning and documentation.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement and coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete MDS assessments per state and federal requirements.
• Facilitate care planning with interdisciplinary team and resident/family involvement.
• Enter and verify ICD-10 codes aligned with physician documentation.
• Monitor resident condition and trigger necessary assessments.
• Support QA, compliance, and performance improvement initiatives.
