Job summary

Villa at Traverse Point in Traverse City, MI is seeking an MDS Coordinator RN to join our team. The MDS Coordinator will manage the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, complete MDS assessments, and develop care plans in accordance with federal and state regulations.

This role collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to ensure accurate documentation and appropriate reimbursement through Medicare/Medicaid.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Possesses a current RN license to practice in the state.
• Skilled Nursing facility experience as an MDS Nurse preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete MDS in compliance with state and federal requirements.
• Facilitate care planning with interdisciplinary team and resident/family participation.
• Ensure timely MDS completion and accurate coding for reimbursement.
• Support QAPI initiatives and ongoing regulatory updates.
