Job summary

Intersect Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate the RAI process and oversee MDS/PPS activities to ensure compliant, timely assessments and optimal reimbursement for residents.

You will lead the IDT, coach staff on accurate coding, and collaborate with billing and QA teams to improve outcomes and 5 Star scores. Travel may be required; a sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in Michigan required.
• Five years of clinical experience including two years in long term care preferred.
• Experience in management and knowledge of the RAI process preferred.
• AANAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate RAI/MDS/CAAS processes for timely completion of all elements.
• Lead PPS/Medicare meetings for efficiencies and completeness.
• Mentor IDT in RAI and PPS processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicate with Accounts Receivable regarding RAI-related billing.
• Provide monthly QAPI reports with tracking and analysis.
• Coach and supervise staff to improve 5 Star scores through better coding.
