Job summary

Sarasota Point Rehab is seeking an LPN with Minimum Data Set (MDS) experience to join our team as an MDS Coordinator. You will develop, implement and coordinate the RAI process to keep the center in compliance with professional standards, physician orders, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs, LTC payer systems, OBRA, the RAI process, and the MDS process is preferred or prior nursing in a long-term care facility may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and coordinate the RAI/MDS process to ensure compliance with professional standards, physician orders, company policies and local, state and federal regulations.
• Ensure adherence to OBRA requirements and regulatory guidelines while maintaining quality resident care.

Entry Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse LPN licensure in the state of practice required


• Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs, LTC payer systems, the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (OBRA), the RAI process, and the MDS process preferred OR prior nursing in a long-term care facility
