Job summary

North Shore Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead the RAI process, ensuring accurate and timely resident assessments aligned with Medicare, Medicaid, OBRA, and payor requirements.

The role requires working on the floor with residents and staff; RN licensure, geriatrics experience, and strong organizational skills are essential for success in this fast-paced post-acute care environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the relevant state
• Clinical experience in geriatrics
• Competence in PPS assessment and OBRA compliance
• Excellent clinical assessment skills
• Excellent organization and independent decision-making skills
• Knowledgeable about state and federal regulations governing the center
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Direct and administer the RAI process to ensure accurate and timely resident assessments in line with Medicare, Medicaid, OBRA and payor requirements
• Ensure assessments reflect residents' physical, mental and psychosocial status and support optimal reimbursement
• Ensure documentation supports provided services and assessment accuracy
• This is a working manager role with time on the floor with residents and staff
