Job summary

North Shore Healthcare is seeking an MDS Coordinator in Wisconsin to lead the RAI process, ensuring timely and accurate resident assessments in line with Medicare, Medicaid, and OBRA requirements. You will verify documentation to support services and reimbursement, while upholding regulatory standards and high-quality resident care.

The role requires an RN in good standing with strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills to work in a fast-paced post-acute setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with respective state licensing board.
• Clinical experience or geriatrics specialty preferred.
• Competence in PPS assessment and OBRA compliance.
• Excellent clinical assessment skills and independent decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Direct and administer the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process to ensure accurate and timely resident assessments in accordance with Medicare, Medicaid, OBRA and payor requirements.
• Ensure documentation supports services provided and reflects assessment accuracy for optimal reimbursement.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations governing center practices and ensure OBRA compliance.
