Job summary

North Shore Healthcare is seeking a registered nurse to lead the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, ensuring timely and accurate assessments per Medicare, Medicaid, OBRA and payor requirements. This role combines management with hands-on work on the floor with residents and staff.

The ideal candidate will have PPS experience, OBRA compliance knowledge, and strong clinical assessment skills, with excellent organization and independent decision-making abilities.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing, geriatrics knowledge, PPS and OBRA compliance.
• Excellent clinical assessment skills and independent decision-making.
• Able to work on the floor with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct and administer the RAI process to ensure accurate assessments.
• Ensure documentation supports services and optimal reimbursement.
• Work on the floor with residents and staff as a working manager.
