Avir Health Group is seeking an experienced MDS Coordinator to manage the RAI process for residents in a Texas facility. The role ensures compliance with state and federal regulations and maintains high-quality care standards.

The coordinator delegates authority as needed, documents care plans, and reviews charts to reflect nursing care. Strong regulatory knowledge and supervisory experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure in Texas and CPR certification.
• At least 1 year of supervisory healthcare experience.
• Familiarity with long-term care regulations and federal/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete the RAI process for each resident as required by regulations.
• Conduct the care plan meeting and document the care plan with input from resident and family.
• Review medical charts to ensure accuracy and reflect nursing care in the care plan.
• Report issues to the Director of Nursing Administration and ensure quality of care.
