The role coordinates cross-disciplinary collaboration, manages requirements and interfaces, conducts risk assessments, and supports value engineering through cost and feasibility analyses, while maintaining quality assurance and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Typically ten years of experience in an engineering role.
• An ABET-accredited engineering degree is required.
• Experience with MBSE tools and product lifecycle management is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute core systems engineering tasks with minimal supervision.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and lead small groups.
• Apply systems thinking to analyze and design interdependent components.
• Develop and maintain system behavior models using MBSE tools within PLM frameworks.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks; support value engineering and cost analyses.
• Document and communicate progress to stakeholders; ensure QA procedures are followed.
