Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a Digital Systems Engineer to blend Systems Engineering, Systems Architecture, and project management across the engineering lifecycle. You will apply MBSE principles to guide requirements, architecture working groups, and system integration.

Responsibilities include leading cross-disciplinary interfaces, performing trade studies, and automating documentation with Cameo, VTL, Python, and MATLAB. A TS clearance and onsite work in SCIF are required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in STEM with 4+ years of experience.
• Proficiency with MBSE and SysML tools (Cameo or MagicDraw).
• Experience with automated documents via scripting (VTL, Python, MATLAB).
• Ability to work onsite in a SCIF environment and travel 10-20%.
• U.S. Citizenship and active TS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-speed system architectures with Cameo Systems Modeler / MagicDraw.
• Manage constrained-syntax requirements and traceability.
• Develop parametric lifecycle models in Excel, Python, MATLAB.
• Lead multidisciplinary requirements and architecture working groups.
• Perform trade studies and prepare technical briefs for decisionmakers.
• Create VTL scripts to automate contract deliverables and ICDs.
• Provide technical leadership within a matrixed team.
