Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a Digital Systems Engineer to blend Systems Engineering, Architecture, and Project Management to guide requirements and system integration. You will use MBSE, lead architecture working groups, and ensure high-integrity traceability across the engineering lifecycle.

You will work on Cameo/MagicDraw environments, develop parametric models in scripting tools, and deliver technical leadership within a matrixed team in a highly secure SCIF setting with 10–20% travel.

Qualifications

• MBSE and SysML-based architecture capture experience.
• Experience with requirement traceability and DOORS.
• Proven leadership of small technical teams.
• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination.
• Ability to work onsite in SCIF environments and travel 10–20%

Responsibilities

• Lead structural/behavioral capture of high-speed architectures in Cameo.
• Manage constrained-syntax requirements and traceability to verification.
• Develop lifecycle models in Excel/Python/MATLAB to assess design tradeoffs.
• Lead multi-discipline architecture working groups for interfaces.
• Conduct trade studies and prepare technical briefs for leadership.
• Create automated contract deliverables and ICDs with VTL.
