Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a skilled Digital Systems Engineer to blend Systems Engineering, Architecture, and Project Management across the lifecycle. You will use MBSE principles to ensure interoperability, manage risk in modeling environments, and deliver engineering solutions with speed.

Responsibilities include coordinating multi-discipline requirements, leading architecture sessions, and driving cost/benefit trade studies. Onsite SCIF work with up to 20% travel and U.S.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering with 4+ years of experience.
• Proven MBSE and SysML model capture using Cameo/MagicDraw.
• Experience drafting and decomposing technical requirement structures (DOORS).

Responsibilities

• Lead structural and behavioral capture of high-speed system architectures in Cameo/MagicDraw.
• Oversee creation and traceability of constrained-syntax requirements (EARS-aligned).
• Develop and maintain parametric lifecycle models in Excel/Python/MATLAB.
• Facilitate multi-discipline requirements and architecture working groups.
• Execute trade studies and prepare executive briefings.
• Create VTL scripts in Cameo to automate contract deliverables and ICDs.
• Provide technical leadership within a matrixed team.
