Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a Digital Systems Engineer to blend MBSE, systems architecture, and technical project management across the lifecycle. You will guide requirements definition, architecture working groups, and system integration using Cameo Systems Modeler and Velocity scripting.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Clearance required.
• Master’s degree in aerospace engineering, systems engineering, or related STEM with 2+ years’ experience; OR a bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in core systems engineering.
• Hands‑on experience developing architectural system concepts and model-based configurations in Cameo or No Magic tools.
• Proven experience building template scripts (Apache Velocity) to drive report automation and docs generation.
• Experience leading or coordinating engineering tasks and technical PM capabilities.
• Excellent oral communication with history of briefings and design reviews.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead MBSE conceptual model space to capture complex stakeholder requirements.
• Formulate and lead multi-discipline requirements and architecture working groups.
• Develop, debug, and implement automated scripts using Velocity within Cameo to automate reports and ICDs.
• Drive system integration by linking toolsets and data models across the lifecycle.
• Perform risk identification and management modeling within architectures.
• Ensure high-fidelity report creation and data consistency in model repositories.
• Foster teamwork across matrixed organizations.
