Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a Digital Systems Engineer to blend Systems Engineering, Architecture, and technical Project Management across the lifecycle. You will drive MBSE concepts, requirements traceability, and system integration using Cameo and Velocity scripting.

Leidos Defense Systems: applicants should have a TS clearance, a STEM master’s (2+ years) or a bachelor’s with 4+ years, and hands-on experience with model-based configurations and risk management in a multidisciplinary

Qualifications

Active Top Secret Clearance required.
Hands-on experience developing architectural concepts, BD DS, IBDs and model-based configurations in Cameo or No Magic tools.
Proven ability to build and apply template scripts (e.g., Apache Velocity) to automate reports and docs inside modeling environments.
Experience leading or coordinating engineering tasks in multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication for briefings and design reviews.
U.S. Citizenship required with active TS clearance.

Responsibilities

Lead MBSE conceptual model space to capture stakeholder requirements and establish end-to-end architecture and traceability.
Formulate and lead multi-discipline requirements and architecture working groups.
Develop, debug, and implement automated scripts using Velocity within Cameo to support report automation and ICD generation.
Drive system integration by linking toolsets and data models across the product lifecycle.
Perform risk identification and modeling within architectures to standardize tracking.
Foster teamwork and collaboration across matrixed organizations.
