Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a Digital Systems Engineer to blend MBSE, systems architecture, and project management across the engineering lifecycle. You will guide requirements, coordinate architecture working groups, and leverage Cameo to drive ICD generation and report automation.

The role requires active Top Secret clearance and a Master’s or equivalent experience in aerospace/systems engineering. Collaboration across matrixed teams and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 2+ years of related experience or a Bachelor's with 4+ years in systems engineering.
• Hands-on architectural concepts and model-based configurations using Cameo or similar tools.
• Experience building template scripts (like Velocity) for report automation and docs generation.
• Experience leading or coordinating engineering tasks within multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent oral communication for briefings and design reviews.
• U.S. Citizenship and active Top Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead MBSE model space to capture complex requirements and establish traceability.
• Form multi-discipline requirements and architecture working groups aligned with milestones.
• Develop and implement automated script templates (Velocity) for ICDs and reports.
• Drive system integration by linking tools and data models across the lifecycle.
• Conduct risk identification and modeling to standardize tracking in architectures.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and ensure high-fidelity report generation.
