Job summary

Humana invites MBA and other advanced-degree students to join its Summer 2027 Internship Program. This 12-week, in-person experience offers exposure to enterprise-level work across multiple business areas, with leadership engagement and practical project experience in primary care and clinical innovation.

Interns work 40 hours per week, in Louisville, KY, or other listed locations, and may contribute to meaningful, data-informed strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• MBA or another advanced professional degree with expected graduation date in spring or summer 2028.
• Available to work full time, 40 hours per week, May 24, 2027 through August 13, 2027.
• Willingness to work in-person 3‑4 days per week at one of the listed locations.
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States.
• Minimum of three years of professional experience completed before starting graduate school.
• Demonstrated leadership through professional, academic, military, or extracurricular experiences with a track record of guiding teams and delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Translate priorities in primary care and clinical innovation into action through strategic planning and cross-functional coordination.
• Support portfolio execution, process improvement, and transformation initiatives across enterprise priorities.
• Engage with executive leaders and contribute to governance and leadership development during the internship.
