Job summary

Math Corps is hiring a Math Tutor to work in local schools, providing targeted math practice to groups of students for 20-30 minutes. You’ll guide them back to class, then prepare the next group, with coaching and training along the way.

We offer development, regular progress tracking, and a supportive team environment as you help students build confidence. This is a part-time/fully active tutoring program.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (email, online navigation).

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping children thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure support.
• Track student progress and meet with the school's on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores in data software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
• Share tutoring experiences with the community.
