Job summary

Ampact’s Math Corps program seeks enthusiastic tutors to work in local schools providing math practice to groups of students. You’ll be trained and supported as you deliver proven activities and coach students throughout the school day.

Daily sessions involve small groups, progress tracking, and collaboration with on-site coaches. This role offers meaningful impact through hands-on tutoring and service in the community.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Proficient with basic email and online navigation.
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent; U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident; able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult who's focused on helping children thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure students receive support.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores in data software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
• Share your experience with the community.
