Job summary

Ampact's Math Corps is hiring Math Tutors to support students in local schools. You’ll lead short tutoring sessions, monitor progress, and collaborate with an on-site coach to tailor activities for student growth.

The role is part-time and full-time within the school calendar, with AmeriCorps stipend and education awards. Training and ongoing coaching are provided to develop your skills and impact.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (email, navigating online).
• Dependable with good attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Lead tutoring sessions for groups of students as scheduled.
• Track student progress and enter scores in data software.
• Coordinate with on-site coach and school staff for instruction.
• Support student growth and participate in coaching and training.
