Job summary

Math Corps, operated by Ampact, is seeking a Math Tutor to work at a local school in Decatur. You’ll guide small groups (up to 3 students) for 20–30 minutes per session and help students integrate back into their classrooms after each session.

You’ll receive training, ongoing coaching, and opportunities to grow. AmeriCorps benefits include health coverage options and college tuition assistance, with a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent English for speaking, reading and writing.
• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to use email and navigate online tools.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule for student support.
• Track student progress and meet with onsite coach.
• Enter student scores into data software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
• Share your experience with the community.
