Math Corps, powered by Ampact, seeks AmeriCorps tutors to work in local schools guiding students through focused math practice. You’ll tutor small groups, follow a set schedule, and help students return to class after each session.

Training and coaching support will be provided throughout the program year. Position offers weekday daytime hours, a clear path for growth, and a competitive hourly stipend with generous education benefits and healthcare options.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Ability to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks (email, navigating online).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule for support.
• Track student progress and meet with onsite coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores into data software.
