Qualifications

• Mentor must have completed WV Center for Professional Development’s mentor training institute.
• Preference for mentors with Master Mentor Teacher Advanced Credential.
• Mentor will guide beginning teachers within a semester-based placement.

Responsibilities

• Mentor beginning teacher for a year-long experience in semester increments.
• Provide guidance and support to the beginning teacher and collaborate with school staff.
• Coordinate with the personnel office to deliver the job description and responsibilities.
