Responsibilities

• Under RN direction, performs basic operating room skills.
• Maintains aseptic practices per AORN standards.
• Performs scrub technician duties efficiently and professionally.
• Disassembles delivery table and case cart after use and ensures proper disposal of waste.
• Prepares delivery and operating rooms early after use.
• Maintains linen and surgical supplies.
• Sets priorities and manages supplies with attention to safety.
• Monitors patient safety in OR and labor/delivery areas and reports urgent changes.
