Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group's Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer position in Houston, TX, at Houston Perinatal Associates, invites skilled professionals to join a team dedicated to high-risk pregnancies. You will perform detailed fetal surveys, assist with procedures, document findings, and support providers with accurate reporting and patient care.

Qualified candidates will have ARDMS certification, experience in OB/GYN or MFM settings, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited sonography program with degree in ultrasonography or equivalent.
• Maintain or be eligible for ARDMS certification.
• ARDMS OB/GYN or Fetal Echo certification eligible within 12 months of hire.
• Evidence of continuing education credits to fulfill accreditation requirements.
• NT experience or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed fetal anatomical surveys including twins/triplets and acquire data for physician interpretation.
• Assist physicians with procedures such as amniocentesis and CVS.
• Document exam findings, measurements, images and details in the ultrasound system.
• Generate clear preliminary reports and review studies with interpreting physicians.
• Rotate to other locations to cover sonographer absences.
