Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer to join our team in The Woodlands, TX. This role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound tests for pregnant women and assisting physicians with various procedures while ensuring adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited sonography program with a degree in ultrasonography.
• ARDMS certification preferred or eligible to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Minimum six months experience as an ultrasound technician in an OB/GYN and/or MFM setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed fetal anatomical surveys and document findings.
• Assist physicians with procedures such as amniocentesis.
• Ensure documentation and equipment operation comply with standards.

Skills

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

Skillful operation of ultrasound equipment

Ability to react calmly in emergency situations

Recognition of professional issues in providing care

Education

Graduation from an accredited sonography program

Maintain certification as an American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)

ARDMS OB/GYN or Fetal Echo certified
