Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group’s Maternal-Fetal Medicine Clinic in Houston seeks a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform high‑risk MFM ultrasounds and support patients and physicians in a collaborative care environment. Candidates should graduate from an accredited program with ARDMS OB/GYN eligibility and CPR certification.

This full‑time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM with no weekends or holidays. The Sonographer will perform detailed fetal surveys, assist with procedures, document

Qualifications

• Graduates of an accredited sonography program with ARDMS OB/GYN eligibility.
• CPR certification preferred; evidence of continuing education credits to meet accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed fetal anatomical surveys and acquire data for interpretation.
• Assist physicians with procedures such as amniocentesis and CVS.
• Document exam findings, measurements, images, and procedural details.
• Record patient history and indications per protocols and standards.
• Generate preliminary reports for physician review and signature.
• Communicate findings with interpreting physicians to support accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with safety, privacy, and organizational policies.
• Rotate to cover absences and perform related duties as assigned.
