Job summary

Terracon is seeking a field/lab technician to perform testing, observation and inspection of construction materials on project sites. You will work with project managers and technicians to ensure testing and reporting meets requirements.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1–2 years of relevant experience, and proficiency with Word and Excel. A valid driver’s license may be required; strong safety performance is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with laptop use and MS Word/MS Excel.
• 1–2 years of relevant field testing/inspection experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials.
• Communicates findings and results with project staff and managers.
• Transports samples to the laboratory for testing and analysis.
• Tabulates, prepares, and submits data and observations in reports for daily PM transmission.
• Maintains equipment, vehicles and work areas; assists with scheduling and dispatch.
• Adheres to strict safety standards.
