Job summary

Terracon is seeking a Field Testing Technician to perform soil, aggregate, concrete, asphalt, and steel testing and inspection at construction sites in the Phoenix area. You will communicate findings to the Project Manager and prepare daily reports, while maintaining equipment and adhering to safety standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 1–2 years of relevant experience; proficiency with Word/Excel and a valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with field testing and reporting.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Performs field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials.
• Communicates results to Project Manager and team.
• Prepares data in written and digital reports for daily transmittals.
• Maintains and cleans equipment and work areas.
• Adheres to safety standards.
