Job summary

Terracon is seeking an entry-level Technician to perform field and laboratory testing of construction materials, including soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. You will assist with testing, observations, data recording, and reporting to the Project Manager while maintaining equipment and adhering to safety standards.

Under supervision, you will gain responsibility through training, work on multiple sites, and pursue professional certifications such as ACI within 90 days and Nuclear

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 6 months of experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.
• ACI certification within 90 days of hire is required.
• Internal safety certifications should be completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist on tasks and perform basic testing and observations.
• Provide clear documentation of findings and results.
• Communicate information to Project Manager and discuss accuracy of data for submittal.
• Submit documentation and communicate results as directed by the Project Manager.
• Will be placed in progressively increased role of training and responsibility in work assignments.
• Maintain assigned equipment and adhere to safety requirements.
