Job summary

Terracon is seeking a field/lab technician to perform testing and inspection of construction materials, including soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt. You will communicate results to the Project Manager, maintain equipment, and ensure safety on site.

The role requires a high school diploma, 6 months of experience, and certifications in ACI within 90 days and Nuclear Density Gauge within 6 months. A valid driver's license may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 6 months of field/testing experience.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record may be required.
• ACI certification within 90 days of hire is required.
• Proactive completion of safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic testing and observation duties under supervision.
• Document findings clearly and prepare results for submittal.
• Communicate data accuracy to Project Manager for reports.
• Submit documentation and communicate results as directed.
• Maintain assigned equipment and adhere to safety standards.
• Support scheduling and dispatch of Technicians to project sites.
