Job summary

UES, Inc. is seeking motivated Field Technicians to join its Construction Materials Testing (CMT) teams. You will test concrete, soils, asphalt, and other construction materials on active job sites, document results, and collaborate with engineers and project managers.

Entry to senior levels are available; certifications such as ACI, ICC, NICET are highly valued. Expect travel, outdoor work, and ongoing training within a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training is a plus.
• 0-3 years of experience in field-based outdoor or physically demanding role preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Industry certifications such as ACI Level 1 Concrete Testing, or ability to obtain within a specified time period.
• Commitment to workplace safety and following OSHA standards and company safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Test concrete, soils, asphalt, and other construction materials on outdoor job sites.
• Document testing results and inspect site conditions.
• Work with engineers, contractors, and project managers.
• Maintain testing equipment and follow safety protocols and PPE guidelines.
• Report findings accurately and on time to project teams.
