Job summary

Universal Engineering Sciences (UES) is hiring for construction materials testing technicians at multiple levels. You will perform field testing on soils, concrete, asphalt, and other materials, document results, and support QA/QC on active projects across roads, bridges, and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical training preferred.
• 3 years of relevant field experience in construction materials testing or related discipline.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical specifications.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing on construction materials and document results.
• Conduct density testing and various testing procedures per standards (ASTM, AASHTO).
• Observe activities, collect samples, and prepare clear field reports.
• Communicate findings with project managers, engineers, and contractors.
