Legacy Engineering is seeking a Construction Field Technician to join our CMT team. This hands-on, outdoor position operates on active construction sites to verify roads, buildings and infrastructure are built correctly.

No prior testing experience is required — we provide training and pay for industry certifications. This role offers a great entry into construction, engineering, or infrastructure inspection with opportunities for certifications like ACI and OSHA.

Qualifications

• No prior testing experience required; training provided.
• Ability to lift up to 85 pounds and stay active during the day.
• Interest in construction, engineering, or field work.

Responsibilities

• Travel to construction sites to perform field testing of soil, concrete, and other materials.
• Work with contractors, engineers, and inspectors on active projects.
• Perform basic field tests using specialized equipment and procedures.
• Document test results and site observations using a tablet or field reports.
• Communicate with project managers and field supervisors about testing needs or site conditions.
• Maintain and properly use testing equipment per safety standards.
