Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or relevant technical training preferred.
• 3 years of relevant field experience in construction materials testing or related discipline.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing on soil, concrete, and aggregates (e.g., compaction, slump, density).
• Collect samples and ensure proper chain-of-custody for lab testing.
• Prepare daily field reports and communicate findings to project teams.
• Maintain and calibrate field testing equipment; ensure safety on-site and in the lab.
