Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical training preferred.
• 3 years of relevant field experience in construction materials testing or related discipline.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical specifications.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing on construction materials including soil, concrete, and asphalt.
• Conduct density testing using nuclear gauges or sand cone methods.
• Observe field activities and document results per project specs.
• Prepare daily field reports and communicate findings to managers and engineers.
• Ensure calibration and proper use of testing equipment and maintain safety on-site.
