Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a warehouse associate to support assembly preparation through sorting, picking, storing and counting of parts. You will follow prescribed safety rules, maintain quality standards, and operate an inventory scanning system to track location movements.

The role requires standing for long periods, ability to lift heavy items and to work in a manufacturing environment with safety gear provided.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and a background check.
  • Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Sort, pick, store, and count parts in preparation for assembly.
  • Follow safety rules and maintain quality standards.
  • Use inventory scanning system to scan in/out of locations.
  • Perform cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Utilize tools and equipment including manual/electric/pneumatic tools, forklift (stand‑up), jib crane, templates/fixtures, hand carts, measuring devices, and safety equipment.

Job description

  • Perform cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Utilize tools such as manual/electric/pneumatic tools, fork truck (including stand‑up), jib crane, templates/fixtures, hand carts, measuring devices, and prescribed safety equipment.

  • Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen and a background check.
  • Effective communication skills.
Basic Requirements
  • PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is required; safety shoes and safety glasses must be worn on the production floor.
  • Work is performed in a manufacturing environment; prolonged periods of standing are required for the duration of the shift.
  • Requires ability to reach overhead, pull, push, bend, squat, and climb a ladder to perform work.
  • Ability to lift 26 pounds occasionally or 22 pounds independently and repetitively.
