Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Floor Trainer in Fairfield, Ohio.   • Must have applicable wiring experience.
  • Must have all applicable knowledge and competencies for skilled wiring.
  • Must be a full-time employee of Schneider Electric for at least 6 months.
  • Must maintain 'Good/Superior' quality with no more than 3 defects per quarter.
  • Must be willing to bring personal tool cart to interview and explain 5S.
  • Team player in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Eager to learn and adapt to new processes and techniques.
  • Fluent in English.

Job description

Join our production team as a Manufacturing Floor Trainer and play a key role in delivering quality products. This hands‑on position offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment where your attention to detail and commitment to excellence make a real difference.

What will you do?
  • Assist in the development of new temporary workers, retraining current employees, cross training, etc.
  • Work with multiple individuals at different skill levels.
  • Show strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
  • Troubleshoot production issues.
  • Provide objective student evaluations during the training period.
  • Encourage participants to learn from themselves and the class.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Assemble components and products following detailed specifications and standardized processes.
  • Inspect finished products to verify quality and ensure adherence to standards.
  • Work closely with team members to achieve production goals and maintain efficient workflows.
  • Keep work area clean and organized while reporting equipment issues promptly.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess applicable wiring experience.
  • Must have all applicable knowledge and competencies for skilled, experienced wiring.
  • Must have no more than 3 points with no written policy infractions.
  • Must be a full‑time employee of Schneider Electric for at least 6 months.
  • Must maintain a “Good/Superior” quality with no more than 3 defects per quarter.
  • Must be willing to bring personal tool cart to interview and explain 5S.
  • Team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
  • Dependable and accountable – takes pride in work and follows through.
  • Eager to learn and adapt to new processes and techniques.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and understand English fluently.
