We currently have opportunities for Electronics Assembly Technicians (2nd shift) in our manufacturing department. Job responsibilities may include the strict application of standardized processes in manufacturing/production across a broad scope, including basic maintenance processes and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components and products following detailed specifications and standardized processes.
- Inspect finished products to verify quality and ensure adherence to standards.
- Work closely with team members to achieve production goals and maintain efficient workflows.
- Keep your work area clean and organized while promptly reporting any equipment issues.
- Safely execute standard work and suggest improvements to operating procedures.
- Achieve proficiency in all assigned stations.
- Execute operations to meet efficiency target standards.
- Assist with training, as needed.
- Identify and report any risks regarding health, safety, quality, and environment, including incidents and near misses.
- Ensure the quality of operations performed by controlling and respecting the standards.
- Apply escalation process in case of any deviation (safety, environment, quality, performance).
- Ensure proper recording of barriers and performance in Red/Green follow-up.
- Perform basic line preventative maintenance.
- Ensure proper 5S standards are maintained.
- Assist with startup and continuous improvement projects.
- Facilitate teamwork and collaboration by actively engaging with team members to foster a supportive and inclusive work environment.
- Regularly participate in relevant training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
