Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Milwaukie, OR is seeking a Stores/Receiving Operations associate to oversee daily receiving, inventory, warehousing and issuing of materials. You will coordinate with Purchasing, Accounting and other departments and ensure accuracy of records.

Responsibilities include processing receipts, inspecting items, data entry, replenishment, and safeguarding inventory while adhering to safety guidelines. Prior forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least two years of materials handling experience, including receiving, inventory and issuing.
• Experience with computerized inventory control systems.
• Ability to read and follow work orders; strong math and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving of all stores materials and equipment and support related transactions.
• Verify orders, reconcile discrepancies, and process damage reports with suppliers and purchasing.
• Draw materials samples, complete paperwork and submit to lab; coordinate distribution of special order materials.
• Review stock reorder cards and evaluate replenishment quantities based on min/max levels and lead times.
• Coordinate and dispatch replenishment releases and act as expediting agent for releases.
