Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking a Material Handler to support manufacturing operations in Milwaukie, OR. The role focuses on coordinating, tracking, and documenting movement of work-in-progress inventory, while ensuring accurate records and timely part routing between departments.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing floor experience or material handling experience preferred.
• Previous data entry and inventory control experience preferred.
• Basic ability to follow instructions, read, write, and perform arithmetic calculations.
• Ability to attend to detail, resolve record keeping problems and work independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.

Responsibilities

• Verify, transport, and track parts; coordinate movement of work-in-progress inventory.
• Enter accurate inventory, scheduling and location information into tracking system.
• Move parts within process spans and respond to production needs.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move products between departments.
• Complete logs and records, and ensure lot integrity and accurate identification.
