Job summary

LPC in Portland, OR is seeking a Warehouse Receiving/Shipping specialist to unload inbound freight, stage materials, and manage documentation with purchasing and accounting interfaces. You will verify contents, label materials, and input data into inventory systems to support timely operations.

Responsibilities include loading outbound shipments, maintaining proper stock rotation, cycle counts, and safety practices.

Qualifications

At least two years of experience in warehousing operations (receiving, issuing, shipping).
Forklift experience preferred.
Ability to read and follow written instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
Ability to lift 40–100 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

Unload, process and stage inbound freight with attention to weights and packing slips.
Verify weights and counts against freight bills; note damage or shortages.
Mark materials with PCC lot numbers and ensure labeling compliance.
Input received goods into the inventory system and reconcile differences.
Stage outbound shipments and prepare packing slips and freight bills.
Load and secure freight ensuring proper weight distribution.
Conduct warehousing duties including stock rotation, cycle counts, and housekeeping.
Maintain accurate inventories and reporting for management.
Coordinate with PCC Traffic, Purchasing and Accounting for deliveries and invoicing.
Adhere to safety rules and participate in required trainings.
