Qualifications

• At least two years of materials handling experience, including receiving, inventory and issuance.
• An equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Experience with computerized inventory control systems preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow instructions on work orders and requests.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, and to interact with others.
• Ability to organize time and workloads effectively, and to work independently.
• Ability to train and direct the work of less experienced personnel.
• Physical ability to perform the essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and participate in receiving of all store materials and equipment; verify against orders and packing slips.
• Initiate replenishment based on inventory control; coordinate with Purchasing.
• Oversee inventorying and warehousing of materials and equipment; stock shelves and maintain records.
• Assist in issuing materials to authorized users and interpret source documents.
• Perform administrative tasks supporting stores functions and coordinate with Purchasing and Accounting.
• Adhere to safety rules and operate warehouse equipment safely; complete logs and records.
