Job summary

Assurant in Irving, TX is seeking a production support role focused on training and developing the team, monitoring performance, and ensuring quality controls in accordance with work instructions. The position requires collaboration across departments, attendance tracking, and participation in audits.

You will coach associates, handle escalations, and maintain daily reports while supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year of light manufacturing experience.
Proficient in manual processing and receiving, meeting UPH expectations.
Strong team player thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Work with Supervisors to train and develop the team and monitor production performance.
Ensure production and quality controls are met per work instructions.
Participate in daily stand-up meetings with Supervisors and with customers/vendors.
Reallocate resources as needed to meet customer goals.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper workflow.
Be the point of contact for escalations and training needs.
Identify and resolve process issues with Engineering.
Maintain attendance rosters and participate in 6S audits.
Perform on-the-job refresher training and workstation assessments.
Monitor WIP aging and KPI/SLA performance, and escalate when needed.
Train and coach associates and complete daily reports.
