Job summary

Assurant is seeking a hands-on role on the Irving, TX production floor. You will assist Supervisors in training and developing the team while monitoring production performance and quality controls, ensuring adherence to work instructions.

The position follows a Mon-Thu 6:00AM-4:30PM schedule at our Irving, TX location. Responsibilities include participating in stand-up meetings, coordinating resource allocation, collaborating with other departments, and supporting 6S audits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of previous light manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in manual processing and receiving, consistently meeting UPH expectations.
• Strong team player who will thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisors in training and developing the team.
• Monitor production performance and quality controls.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings with Supervisor.
• Coordinate resource reallocation to meet customer goals.
• Track attendance and assist with 6S audits.
• Work with Engineering to identify and resolve process issues.
• Train and coach associates as needed.
• Compile and analyze data and complete daily reports.
