Job summary

Assurant in Irving, TX seeks a production floor supervisor to train and develop the team, monitor performance, and ensure production and quality controls align with work instructions. You will collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other departments to optimize workflows and address issues.

The role requires leadership experience or aptitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage attendance, safety, and audits.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year of previous light manufacturing experience.
Proficient in manual processing and receiving, consistently meeting UPH expectations.
Strong team player who will thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Work with Supervisor to monitor production performance and quality controls.
Participate in daily stand‑up meetings with Supervisor.
Participate in internal and external customer or vendor meetings.
Work with Supervisor to reallocate resources to meet customer goals.
Work with other departments as needed to ensure proper workflow is achieved.
Point of contact for employees for handling escalation issues.
Work with Engineering to identify and resolve process issues.
Track and maintain daily attendance roster for Emergency Evacuation purposes.
Participate with the 6S Audit team on monthly 6S audits.
Train and coach associates as needed.
Monitor KPI and SLA performance levels and elevate issues to supervisor when needed.
