Job summary

TerraPower is seeking a Plant Materials and Processes Manager in Bellevue, WA to lead the development, fabrication, and qualification of materials for Natrium reactor systems. You will manage a team of engineers, establish supply chains, and provide material data to design, supporting advanced reactor programs and licensing.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, and collaboration with procurement, engineering, regulators, and stakeholders to drive TerraPower’s Natrium initiative forward.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of nuclear industry experience with a relevant engineering degree.
• Demonstrated leadership with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code III.
• Strong understanding of metallurgy and alloys used in reactor tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead materials engineering for procurement of reactor components.
• Develop and qualify material datasets per ASME NQA-1-2015.
• Coordinate with cross-functional groups to support Natrium Unit 1.
• Oversee material performance models and testing programs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures.
