Job summary

TerraPower is hiring a Fuel Manufacturing Lead Engineer to guide the Natrium Fuel Manufacturing team in Bellevue, WA. You will lead technical development from lab to production, defining processes, ensuring quality, and coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

The role requires deep expertise in nuclear fuel fabrication, strong leadership, and a collaborative, safety-focused mindset for long-term program scale-up.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering experience with a relevant degree.
• Experience in nuclear fuel design or manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Experience with licensing and supplier qualification is desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction to Fuel Manufacturing teams.
• Lead scale-up of fuel and non-fuel manufacturing processes.
• Interface with reactor design, neutronics, and safety teams.
