Job summary

TerraPower seeks a Natrium Core Materials Senior Manager to lead a dedicated team focused on development, qualification, and testing of core materials for our advanced reactor projects.

You will shape strategic plans, manage budgets, coordinate with stakeholders, and uphold safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across programs. A strong track record in leadership and nuclear materials is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline, preferably in materials science/engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with nuclear materials in high-temperature and sodium environments.
• Knowledge of materials characterization and processing.
• Experience with ISO-9001, AS9100 and ASME NQA-1; 10 CFR 50 Appendix B desired.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and staffing skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Core Materials team with clear direction and expectations.
• Define strategic and technical direction for Natrium Core Materials.
• Oversee all Core Materials work scope and ensure timely delivery.
• Manage Core Materials schedule and budget with PM team.
• Coordinate with executives and external partners on program goals.
• Ensure safety and quality throughout work execution.
• Drive hiring, staffing, and professional development for the team.
