Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Campbellsville, KY seeks a Material Planner I to oversee material planning, purchase orders, supplier follow-up and inventory optimization to ensure uninterrupted production.

You will collaborate with suppliers, QA, and production to resolve issues and meet schedules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This onsite role includes a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years purchasing/procurement experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers and cost reduction initiatives.
• Experience with MRP/ERP, JIT, or Kanban processes are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement of production/inventory/MRO items.
• Analyze requisitions for quantity, specs, and delivery requirements.
• Onboard new suppliers and manage supplier performance.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and safety stock.
