Ingersoll Rand in West Chester, PA is seeking a Material Manager to lead material planning, inventory control, warehousing, and logistics to keep production running smoothly. You will optimize inventory levels, coordinate with Procurement and suppliers, and drive cost efficiency across the materials function.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in materials management, planning, or supply chain in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and optimize material planning strategies to align inventory with production schedules and demand.
• Monitor material availability, inventory accuracy, and cycle counts to minimize shortages and excess inventory.
• Collaborate with Procurement and suppliers to improve on-time delivery, lead times, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Oversee warehouse and logistics operations, including receiving, storage, material handling, and shipping accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse safety standards and company policies while optimizing space and flow.
• Partner with Production, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Procurement to ensure material readiness and manage changes.
• Lead daily tier meetings and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, Kanban, and VMI.
• Coach and develop the materials team with clear KPIs such as inventory turns, supplier OTD, and productivity.
